transportation required to provide and install a straddle type carrier
crane capable of lifting 90,000 pounds with railed wheels. Remove and
dispose of beams, channels, rails, piles, and gratings. Remove and
reinstall rail, grating, beams and channels. Install new structural
steel framing including channels and beams. Install 4 new H-piles and
12 concrete filled steel pipe piles, new grating and 10 new cleats.
Install approximately 153' of new rubber fendering and approximately
80' new timber fencing. Excavate 2 utility trenches. Install
approximately 110' of new 1-1/2" steel water pipe. Install new heated
shore tie. Install approximately 50' of new 4" D.I. sewer pipe. Install
new bituminous concrete pavement. Install 2 new remote electric rewind
hose reels and 2 new control stations. Install approximately 122' of
new fuel pipe. Install 2 door operators and 2 controls. Relocate gas
line. Install 2 new 100 amp shore ties with boxes and breakers. Install
approximately 350' of new conduit and wire. Unit Work Item: Additional
steel piles required to achieve minimum bearing capacity. All work to
be performed at USCG Station Duluth, Minnesota. The period of
performance is 105 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Estimated
range is $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. The SIC Code for this procurement
