enter into a sole-source contract with Scot Incorporated, 2525 Curtiss
Street, Downers Grove, Illinois, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1
and 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The government requires seven (7) oxygen mask
test sets (Scot Incorporated P/N 6112100) with the following features
included: AC/DC power supply (standard 115 or 220 AC Voltage required),
batteries must be locally available (not hazardous, e.g., lithium),
rechargeable battery power source with minimum one hour life with
continuous use, completely portable with field use case, capable of
performing communication continuity checks on standard military
headsets and helmets, digital readout in liters per minute for leak
check, ambient air source compatible with C2A1 chemical canisters,
operates drop test or pressure tests without oxygen or compressed air
bottles, capable of testing Active Noise Reduction headsets and
helmets, test EEU-2P nuclear flashblindness goggles, perform G-suit
leak test, operating temperature limits: 0 degrees C to +50 degrees C,
case size limitations: 16L X 13D X 13H (inches) or smaller, displays
a light leak sensor when leak is above 2.0 + or -- .5, pressure drop
mode: available test pressure 150 in H2O minimum. Interested firms may
identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.
Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient
documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the
requirement (samples would be required for evaluation purposes). A
determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to
this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This
notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however,
all responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
Award will not be made on the basis of responses to this synopsis.
Firms responding to this synopsis should reference the solicitation
number and indicate their business size as defined by FAR 52.219.
