This is an Industry Day Conference invitation prepared by the Global Air Traffic Operations/Mobility Command and Control (GATO/MC2) Systems Program Office (SPO) for the procurement of Multiple Communications, Navigation, Surveillance Air Traffic Management Systems (CNS/ATM), components and services. This invitation to participate in this conference does not constitute an invitation for bid or a request for proposal. A Draft Request for Proprosal is tentatively scheduled to be released on HERBB in February 1999. The Industry Day Conference will be conducted on Wednesday, 20 January 1999 at Hanscom AFB, MA, ESC Building 1612, First Floor -- O'Neil Auditorium, at 1300 hours. The agenda for the conference will be posted at www.herbb.hanscom.af.mil/rfp.asp no later than one week prior to the Industry Day. Attendance is limited to three (3) attendees from each prospective source. The purpose of the Industry Day Conference is for the Government to identify potential products to be listed in the GATM III Request for Proposal. The Government desires to promote a free flowing dialog between industry and the Government on CNS/ATM products that should be considered for inclusion in the GATM III RFP. Potential products include multi-mode receivers, high-frequency data radios, flight management systems, and support equipment for CNS/ATM equipment. The concepts of bundling components into avionics suites, 10-year warranties, A-kits, and systems engineering services will also be discussed.
