We are seeking sources for a DC/AC power inverter with the following essential characteristics and functions: Dual output of 220 VAC, 60 Hz single phase and 220 VAC, 60 Hz single phase quasi-sine waveform; continuous rating of 6,000 watts; surge capacity to start a 220 VAC single phase rotary air compressor having a 2 HP motor and operate a 220 VAC three phase input welder; thermally controlled cooling fan; 24 VDC input point capable of accepting a 4/0 AWG wire fastening to a single barrel aluminum screw lug type "A" 300 MCM; the 120/240 VAC single phase output point shall provide 3 hot, 1 neutral, and 1 ground termination lug; accept input voltages of 22 to 28 VDC; automatic low battery voltage shutdown at 21 VDC with surge delay; unit protection shall consist of an automatic electronic short circuit/overload protection, an automatic high temperature shutdown, and output circuit breaker protection; indicator lights for external power, low voltage input, overload, high temperature, and battery voltage;weight shall not exceed 170 pounds; switching transistors shall be mossfet technology; minimum package size of the mossfet shall be T03P or equal; all circuit boards shall be conformal coated.
