V -- HOTEL ROOMS AND HOTEL SERVICES FOR 1999 CREDIT CONFERENCE SOL CC-98-Q-0042 POC Thora Stanwood, Contract Specialist, 202-874-4716 SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) requires the facilities and services of a qualified hotel to provide guest rooms, meeting rooms and related services for the 1999 Credit Conference. The Conference is to be held in one of these four weeks in August, 1999: August 1 -- 5; 8 -- 12; 15 -- 19; or 22 -- 26. It is to be held in one of these seven cities: Alexandria, VA; Arlington, VA; Baltimore, MD; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; St. Louis, MO; or Washington, DC. There will be approximately 160 attendees. The estimated maximum number of sleeping rooms per night is 160. It is a four-day meeting with continental breakfast, coffee breaks, general sessions, and concurrent sessions. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS The hotel must: 1) be compliant with the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, 15 U.S.C. 2201 et seq, (Public Law 101-391) and have a FEMA certification number; 2) be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq. (ADA); and 3) have one of the following quality ratings: First class or higher per the Official Hotel Guide; or three crowns or higher per the OAG Business Travel Planner.
