Up to 30,000 cubic yards (cy) of shell may be placed on approximately 30 hectares (75 acres) in two placement years (1999 and 2000). Up to 15,000 cy of shell may be placed between 1 March and 30 April in each contract year. Shell will be placed by mechanical equipment (clamshell, front-end loader, backhoe etc) from contractor's barge at high tide. This procurement will result in award of a firm fixed price contract with a base year and one option year. AVAILABILITY: Plans and specs available on or about 11 January 1999 at no charge per set.
