FISC Detachment Philadelphia intends to acquire additional licenses and technical support and software upgrades for existing licenses of GDE Socet Set software to cover FY99 requirements. This requirement will covered by a new firm fixed price contract. It is intended to negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis with GDE Systems Inc. of San Diego, CA the OEM for this software. Interested parties who contend that they are technically qualified should submit within 15 days from the publication of this announcement, specific factual data, including all pertinent information to be used as an evaluation basis to determine competence to successfully perform the required services. All technical proposals received within this time frame will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right to not open this requirement to competition based upon technical notices received in response to this announcement. Technical responses received as a result of this announcement will normally be considered solely for the purpose of whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
