R -- SECURITY SUPPORT SERVICES POC Jan Wisor 202/305-2130 Contracting Officer Andrea Grimsleyl 202/514-3420 The Immirgration and Naturalization Service (INS) intends to cancel in their entirety CBD Notices issued Oct 27, 1998 and Nov 24, 1998 for Contract COW-5-C-0001; providing security support services for INS. The requirement was synopsized as a bridge contract with a follow-on procurement commencing in 30 days. Both reqirements are cancelled. After review and concurrence with Small Business Administration, it was determined that INS, under authority of the of the current contract, COW-5-C-0001, can fund SBA's subcontractor USATREX for performance under the 4th and final option year. The INS intends to re-synopsize the new procurement for a Full and Open Competition Solicitation in approximately 90 days.
