R -- BANK EXAMINER TRAINING SOL CC-99-Q-9999 POC Jeff Ryan, 202/874-5034 The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to acquire services of a firm to develop and deliver a Basic Consumer Banking School for precomissioned examiners. The school will prepare the examiners to perform a consumer compliance examination. The course material will cover consumer compliance regulations and the scope of a consumer compliance bank examination through lecture, case studies, exercises, and other interactive methods. The vendor will be required to provide all participant materials. Additionally, the vendor will be required to meet with OCC bank examiners for approximately three (3) days in February/March to discuss the school content and presentation. The OCC anticipates the need for three (3) schools to be given during the following dates in 1999: May 10-14 in Washington, DC; June 21-25 in Washington, DC; and September 27- October 1 in Kansas City, MO. Note: the OCC will be responsible for making arrangements for the meeting rooms where the training will be provided. The OCC anticipates that the RFQ will be ready on or about January 12, 1999.
