Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Office
of Policy and Coordination has a requirement for an individual to
provide program analyst services in Washington, DC. The incumbent will
be assigned to work with 3 members of a group addressing civilian
police, police development and judicial reform. The incumbent's focus
will include, but not be restricted to, aspects of coordinating US
participation in judicial restructuring in Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia and
other countries as identified, and development and implementation of
new USG policies regarding coordination and implementation of such
programs. The position is under the supervision of the Policy and
Program Officer responsible for police development programs. This
assignment is for 1 year with the option to extend the terms. PSCs are
treated on par with other USG employees. Minimum qualifications
include: must be a USG citizenship, bachelors degree in international
studies, political science, sociology/anthropology, government
relations or related field, immediate availability and employment is
subject to a security clearance for the Department of State. A SF-171
is required to apply. The GS grade equivalent is GS-13. The requirement
is for individuals only. A PSC will not be awarded to a company.
