The Bureau of the Public Debt intends to acquire on a sole-source basis through Skyline Computer, one 5-day training course. This course will cover Cisco's Channel Interface Processor (CIP) and Channel Port Adapter (CPA) TCP/IP and SNA Connectivity. The course will discuss in detail the issues related to designing, configuring and troubleshooting TCP/IP and SNA hosts and routers interconnected via Cisco's CIP or CPA channels. The course will cover Cisco's channel technology, products, the router and host CIP configuration, troubleshooting and management issues. The contractor shall be a Cisco Certified Training Partner for the CIP course and the instructor shall be a Certified Cisco Systems Instructor for the CIP course. A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response. If no affirmative written response is received, within 10 calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect that a comparable service is available, and that it is more advantageous to the Governmentthan obtaining this service through sole-source contract, a sole-source award will be made.
