The Portland, Oregon VA Medical Center is soliciting for commercially available voice recognition transcription systems. This system is to utilize voice recognition technoogy to be installed in the Medical Center's Imaging department. The required system must allow for a minimum of 25 stations to be utilitized simultaneously with in the department by a variety of staff. This facility processes in excess of 75,000 exams annually. System shall be capable of retreiving demographics from the VA's DHCP computer system and matching to a report. The system in turn will process the transcription, allow for approval in a secure manner, any necessary editing, and send back to the DHCP for inclusion in the patients electronic record.
