66 -- HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GAUGE CALIBRATOR SOL F33660-99-R7004 DUE 022399 POC Buyer: Janet Casler, 740-788-5041, Contracting Officer: Glenna Pound, 740-788-5043 The Air Force Metrology and Calibration (AFMETCAL) program requires 46 each Hydraulic Pressure Gauge Calibrators in accordance with AFMETCAL Purchase Description 98MLEEDEB22, Rev C, dated 14 Sep 98. Requirement includes a 5 year warranty and data with each unit, Options for 0-20 in FY00 and 0-30 in FY01 and an Option for Provisioning Data in FY01. General Description: The calibrator shall be a stand-alone bench top calibration system, not exceeding 30 inches tall, 30 inches wide or 30 inches deep and shall not exceed 75 pounds in weight with fluids, capable of allowing the operator to easily calibrate a large variety of hydraulic pressure gauges. The calibrator shall be capable of generating and measuring fluid pressure from 0 to 30,000 PSIG and shall generate the pressure internally without the use of any external pressure source. A complete list of the functional requirements is contained in the AFMETCAL purchase description. A proposal sample may be required. FOB Destination. Delivery to be a minimum of 4 each within 90 days after contract award and continue at a minimum rate of 4 each every 30 days thereafter until complete. All solicitation requests must be in writing. Written requests can be faxed to 740-788-5157. Oral request will not be accepted. Request for Proposal will be issued approx 21 Jan 99. Closing date will be approx 23 Feb 99. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in this solicitation for the described supplies.
