landfill cover system over an area of approximately 210 acres of the
Central Impoundment Area (CIA). The work includes installation of
cushion material, a PVC geomembrane, drainage layer, underdrain system,
cover material and growth media. Associated work items include
regrading of the exterior dikes of the CIA and placement and compaction
of this material on top of the CIA, spreading rock and growth media
over the CIA's exterior dike slopes, establishing grass cover on the
soil-covered exterior slopes and the top of the CIA and installation of
a surface water drainage system for the CIA. Site work includes
construction access roads and maintaining erosion and sediment control
measures to protect the project area. Plans and Specs available on or
about 11 Feb 1999 at no charge per set. No individual sheets are
available. Documents will be issued on a first come, first served basis
until supply is exhausted. No phone requests accepted. Refer to IFB

thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Submit requests
by 4 February 1999. Estimated dollar value is in the range of over $10
million and completion period is 1 Oct 2000. Standard Industrial
Classification Code is 1629. Project is open to both large and small
business. If you are a large business and your bid or proposal will
exceed $1,000,000 you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan.
For the purposes of this procurement a concern is considered a small
business if its average annual receipts are $17 million or less. Visit
