Naval Air Systems Command to issue an order, on an other than full and
open competition basis, to an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA)
N00019-98-G-0018, with Boeing Defense & Space Group, Helicopters
Division, P.O. Box 16858, Philadelphia, PA., 19142-0858 for testing to
provide fatigue test failure data for the pitch housing unfold stop.
A life will be calculated for the pitch housing unfold stop, using this
failure data. In addition, other repairs will be qualified, such as
general blending repairs and chrome plate repairs to the pitch housing
A02R2851 shaft support lug bores and A02R2856 cam support lug bores.
Boeing is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the H-46
series helicopter, and the only firm that possesses the necessary
knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform these
efforts within the limited time constraints of the Navy. For
