The U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency (ACDA) intends to negotiate on a sole basis with Miklos Systems Inc., 7918 Jones Branch Dr., Suite 600, McLean, VA 22102 for technical support to upgrade ACDA's document management system from SoftSolutions to PC Docs. This upgrade requires ACDA's computer systems moved from the current platform of Novell 4.11 to a new platform Windows NT 4.0. This change in platform will modernize ACDA's computer systems and also will make the systems compatible with those of the Department of State. It is essential that this task be accomplished immediately. Any delay will hamper the effectiveness of the computer systems and cause additional expenditures by forcing ACDA to continue maintenance on the older obsolete systems. The Contractor must have a TOP SECRET security clearance. Firms that feel they can provide the aforementioned subscription are invited to submit an affirmative response to this sufficient documentation to clearly show ability to comply with all of the above requirements, and must be received within 15 calendar days of this notice.
