The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command, Armament, Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC), Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000, has a requirement for the production of a quantity of 950 Shock Isolation Plate Assemblies (SIPA) for the Automatic Fire Control System Computer Unit (ACU) used on the M109A6 Paladin. The SIPA is the mounting interface between the ACU and the M109A6 Paladin and provides shock and vibration isolation to the ACU. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to provide the Government with all required hardware and assemble the SIPA for installation into the M109A6 Paladin. IDC, Merrick, NY 11566 has been prequalified for this effort based on a source controlled drawing established by the Government. The contractor is responsible to insure that the performance and interface requirement of the assembly are met. This is for Market Research information only. This is not a solicitation.
