MATERIAL: Titanium Alloy; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: 12X8X8 inches; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Incorporation of an improved durability duct fingerseals to increase fingerseal life and reduce potential of fingerseals jamming and nozzle burn-through events. Kit is used to form a seal around the rear edge of the Augmentor Combustion Chamber Duct. To be eligible for contract award offerors must be approved sources IAW I-70 of the solicitation. First Article tests required. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible future awards. Government furnished drawings are not available. Approximate solicitation date: 27Jan99.
