a task order contract to perform vehicle crashworthiness studies. The
objectives of the efforts as defined in the task orders will be to
test, analyze, and document motor vehicle component force deflection
data and related characteristics under test conditions simulating
vehicle crashes. The characterizations of these components will be used
by the Department in the assessment of potential automotive injury
mitigation concepts. A CPFF task order type contract is anticipated for
a three (3) year effort. The applicable SIC Code is 8734. The
solicitation and any document related to this procurement will be
available on the Internet, these documents will be available on a WWW
server which may be accessed using Web browsers. The WWW address, or

Contractors are warned that when they register to receive

business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance
for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT
Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide
accounts receivable financing. The maximum line ofcredit is $500,000.
