The Navy requires rebuild of 175 each Government-furnished Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapon (SMAW) tube assemblies in accordance with Marine Corps drawing 82A5027A6070 and NSWC Crane Statement of Work. The SMAW tube assembly is a filament-wound fiberglass tube with external metal glue-on brackets. Approximate dimensions of the tube are: 36" long x 3.5" outside diameter. Reconditioning tasks include boring the inside diameter and installing a pre-wound fiberglass sleeve, inspecting/repairing thread inserts, re-attaching missing brackets, painting, testing and general cleaning. Delivery of the first 50 each is required F.o.b. Crane within 150 days after contract award. Final inspection and acceptance will be performed at NSWC within 30 days of receipt. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Code is 3499 and the size standard is 500 employees.
