The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a modification to the Time and Materials contract (N00019-95-C-0008) with Raytheon E-Systems, Inc. Waco to incorporate a contract line item (CLIN) to provide necessary "care & feeding" of the E-6 aircraft during the installation/integration of the Modified Miniature Receive Terminal (MMRT) modification. The actual installation/integration of the MMRT is being accomplished under a separate Air force contract issued by ESC at Hanscomb AFB, Massachusetts under which Raytheon is a subcontractor. The modification to the Time and Material contract with Raytheon will provide the necessary effort required to maintain the physical and mechanical condition of the aircraft in accordance with accepted Navy maintenance standards and practices such as routine/special inspections and routine/unscheduled maintenance during the MMRT modification period.
