26 -- HMMWV RADIAL TIRES POC John Juhn (810) 574-6303/Arnie Pacis (810) 574-8033 TACOM will be purchasing HMMWV radial tires, 37x12.50R16.5LT, load range D, sole source from Goodyear for the next 2 years. This is a 2 year Requirements Contract with three one-year options. The estimated purchase quantities are 60,602 tires for 2 years requirements contract and 30,301 tires per each options. The Gov't will review the sole source status of this item prior to exercising each of the subsequent option years on the contract with Goodyear. Sources other than Goodyear will be considered only after successful completion of testing by the manufacturer. Prospective alternate suppliers must meet TACOM's test criteria prior to consideration of their bid/offer.
