companies who would qualify as an 8(a) business to identify potential
contractors capable of manufacturing the projectile assembly for the
CTG. 40MM M918 Practice Round. A minimum monthly production capability
is required. Interested parties must be able to perform the work in
accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation clause 52.219-14,

$7.7532 Projectile 9399374 There will be no Government furnished
material provided. This differs from previous acquisitions where the
government furnished the M550 Escapement Assembly and the M55 Det Stab.
Above average cost includes a roll-up of these government furnished
components into the projectile assembly costs. Specific skills,
equipment, and facilities required to manufacture subject item are as
follows: Explosive experts, quality control specialists, process
engineers, set-up mechanics, tool setters, explosive storage and
handling equipment, metal forming/finishing equipment, component part
assembly capability, phosphate coating, and packing equipment.
Explosive safety standards have to be enforced and recommended
distances between explosive storage buildings and manufacturing
buildings have to be maintained/enforced IAW Army Reg 385-64 and DOD
Standard 6055.9. Technical data is available for this item. A detailed
questionnaire, including top drawing data, may be provided to capable
respondents. Interested firms who feel they are capable of
manufacturing this item, based on the above criteria, are invited to
indicate their interest by providing the Government a summary of their
company's capabilities, including a description of facilities.

submitted within 15 calendar days from the date of this publication to
