Presolicitation Notice -- The scope of work includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment to construct a Mixed Waste Storage Building. The single story facility is of masonry block and structural steel construction. All work is to include demolition, site work, concrete work, stone columns, jet/compaction grouting, metals, finishes, mechanical, electrical and incidental related work, complete and ready for use. -- Contract duration is 165 calendar days. -- This is a best value procurement. The contract is to be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits the proposal considered most advantageous to the Government considering "Past Performance and Experience, "Construction Execution and Corporate Resources", and "Price", and other evaluation factors. The following evaluation criteria has been established: Factor 1 (Past Performance and Experience), Factor 2 (Construction Execution and Corporate Resources), and Factor 3 (Price) which are weighted equal. Within the "Past Performance and Experience" factor, the following subfactors are listed in order of importance: Subfactor "1.1" Past Performance, Subfactor "1.2" Subcontracting Effort.-A proposed site visit is tentatively scheduled for 27 January 1999 at 8:00 A.M.
