Provide and install new addressable, microprocessor based fire-detection and alarm system with voice evacuation capabilities at the Andover Service Center, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), 310 Lowell St. Andover, MA. Work consists of but is not limited to removing and securing the existing fire alarm system. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The issue date is on or about (o/a) 01/21/99; opening date is o/a 02/25/99 and contract completion is estimated to be 140 calendar days after a Notice to Proceed is issued. Offerors will be required to have both the installer and manufacturer of the fire alarm system performed by contractor(s) which have been in business for a minimum of five years with experience in this type of work.
