(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request For Quotation, #F32604-99-Q0145. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-10. (iv) Notice: This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification is 3536 Overhead Traveling Cranes, Hoists and Monorail Systems. The size standard is 500 employees. (v) Items to be Purchased: 01 01 Each, Furnish and assemble one forty foot wide freestanding gantry hoist to include a crane with the capacity of five tons equipped with two (2), two ton capacity hoists. Crane height shall be adjustable with a minimum range of 23' 6" to 15' 6" in height,in 6" maximum increments. The crane shall be on wheels to facilitate movement. The hoist shall be motorized with electrically operated tractors for horizontal movement. Hoists shall be Yale P/N KEL2-2015S2 or approved equal. Assembly of the above items will be performed in Helicopter Hangar (Bldg 899) at Minot AFB, ND (vi) There is no additional description for the preceding three line items.
