59 -- ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS SOL N00421-99-q-5137 DUE 012999 POC Betty Goddard, Purchasing Agent (301) 757-2525 This is a notice of intent to negotiate with United Electronics Industries, 10 Dexter Ave, Watertown, MA on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase (4) analog/digital subsystem. The minimum specifications are as follows: -- A/D cards: system should use linear technology analog to digital converters System must be capable of sampling on 18 channels simutaneously with a programmable sample rate up to 200Ksps on each channel. The system should use three, T channel cards. Each should have a separate a/d with 32K fifo and on board sample and hold circuitry. The A/D cards should have a motorola 56301 DSP controller on the card to allow for onboard processing of the sampled data. The A/D cards must be in PCI form factor. The system must be capable of sustained sampling on all 18 channels for two hours at 200Ksps. -- cable: shielded -- power daq driver software: must include 32 bit windows nt drivers that are communication based vice register based. Driver must be capable of supporting a sustained sample rate o 200Ksps per channel. -- anti- aliasing filter unit: the system must include programmable anti- aliasing filters with a programmable (via rs-232)cutoff frequency up to 100Khz. The system must include an external case for the anti-aliasing filters with built in power supply. Rear mounted 18 BNC connectors for the 18 analog inputs, and rear mounted connectors to provide analog input to the ADC cards, and a rear mounted RS-232 connection to allow for programming of the anti-aliasing filters. The government intents to negotiate on a sole source basis with United Electronics Industries to maintain compatible and interchange- able parts.
