The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) is planning to extend the period of performance of the data coordinating center for the NICHD Trial of Calcium Supplementation in Pregnancy for the Prevention of Preeclampsia and Preterm Birth (CPEP). The EMMES Corporation, Potomac, Maryland currently holds all of the CPEP data, has developed the database, entered all data from the five clinical sites, developed data quality control measures, cleaned and edited all data, prepared the final data set, and has experience analyzing longitudinal data from the database. We intend to continue with EMMES, who has been the data coordinating center since the inception of the project in March 1991, so that the data analysis can be completed.
