This will be an Indefinite Quantity Construction Contract (IQC-C) for Asbestos and Lead Abatement of Postal facilities in Southern Illinois, and the states of Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin . The contract will be for a two year period with no renewal options. The total value of work orders may not exceed $3,000,000.00 over the life of the contract with a minimum $10,000.00 of work ordered over the life of the contract. No single work order may exceed $250,000 and a specific work order will be issued to specify the kind and quantity of work to be performed for each project. Multiple awards may be made from this solicitation. Evaluation Factors: Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of price and Technical Proposal Evaluation Score. The Proposal Evaluation Score will be at least as important as the price in evaluating offers. Estimated that $300,000.00 will be charged against this contract. This does not obligate the U S Postal Service, it is only an estimate designed to help contractors in making an offer. Bonding will be changed in increments of $100K with amounts to be determined by the contracting officer at time of award and as additional bonding is required. Bonds and Insurance: Performance and Payment Bonds, Certificate of Public and Automobile Liability Insurance, Worker's Compensation, and Employers Liability Insurance are required before award to the successor offeror(s).
