UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price Requirements Type Contract for two (2) years with one (1) option year for Packaging Boxes that will be used to ship finish goods. The Items will be procured for the UNICOR factory in Latuna, Texas. BID CLOSING DATE IS SCHEDULE FOR 01/28/99 AT 2:00PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME. The boxes will be manufactured in accordance the Federal PPP-B-636-J dated June 12, 1981 & Amend-1 dated January 20, 1982. Prices will be FOB Destination to FCI UNICOR LaTuna facility in Anthony, Texas. All interested parties are required to submit bid samples to be considered for award. Bid Samples are due one (1) week prior to solicitation closing date. Bidders must allow ample time for laboratory testing on all samples submitted. All bidders are required to submit two (2) samples of each item to Ms. Elke Westfall, Quality Assurance Manager, FPI LaTuna, P.O. Box 1000, Anthony, NM88021. UNICOR WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY SAMPLES TO PROSPECTIVE VENDORS. Required delivery is forty-five (45) days after receipt of order.
