Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Waterways Experiment Station, requires hardware and software maintenance on a GEAC/CLSI Libs 100+ integrated library system through 31 December 1999. Hardware maintenance must include support for an S27 Sequent computer and related network components. Software maintenance must include support for the Dynix/PTX operating system, Informix Database Management System, Z39.50 server software, terminal software support for forty ports, off line circulation workstation software, cataloger's workstation software for five users, as well as Libs 100+ circulation, MARC cataloging, and oneline public access catalog modules. The maintenance must be capable of supporting the existing GEAC/CLSI Libs 100+ integrated library system currently being used by the library. GEAC Computers, Inc., is the only known source for this maintenance. In the event no other sources are found, the Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order to GEAC Computers,Inc., under the authority of 40 U.S.C. 759(g), as amended.
