James, Contracting Officer, 530-478-6121, FAX 530-478-6126 Proposals are being requested for the design and construction of a pre-engineered metal warehouse/shop building. The warehouse will accommodate a variety of uses and disciplines. There shall be a minimum of one unisex accessible restroom. The foundation and bay doors shall be a minimum of 10' high (rollups) to accommodate deliveries that require either a forklift or backhoe. There shall be an equitable split of floor space based on a total of 12 shares. The shares will aid in determining the building dimensions and the offeror/contractor shall provide layout proposals, however, the offeror will not be required to construct interior walls. Total contract time is 180 days including design, submittal review and construction, with an estimated start work date of 05/15/99. Copies of the Project Design Prospectus will be available 02/08/99. Bonding is required, 20% Bid, 100% Performance, and 50% Payment. The location for the proposed Meyers Warehouse is 3030 Highway 50, So. Lake Tahoe, CA. To reach the location, take Highway 50 east from Placerville to So. Lake Tahoe. Meyers is located on the north side of the freeway after passing the Agriculture Inspection Station.
