The Postal Service is soliciting for HVAC replacement at the General Mail Facility (GMF)in Billings, MT 59107-9998. All work will be accomplished in accordance with the technical specifications and drawing for Solicitation 072976-99-A-0052. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, supplies to accomplish the removal of the existing cooling tower and installation of a new cooling tower on a new support building at the Billings, MT, GMF. Work includes, but is not limited to demolition, earthwork, site utilities, site improvements, paving repair, concrete foundations, concrete slab on grade, tilt up concrete walls, pre-cast roof structure, sheet metal, metal framing, insulation, gypsum board, painting, h.m. doors and frames, hardware, signage, fire alarm systems, security systems, electrical, ventilating, installation of a new cooling tower complete and ready to use. The estimated construction cost is $325,000 to $375,000. The performance period is 180 calendar days from date of issuance of Notice to Proceed. The solicitation package will be available on or about January 11, 1999, and may be obtained by remitting a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of $35.00 per set.
