Southern Division Field Office New Orleans Area maintains a Small Business Contractors List for Construction Services for the New Orleans LA area. The Contractors List will be limited to small business concerns interested in performing building repair and alteration work. This list will be used for projects costing more than $2,000 but less than $100,000. Projects will include, but not be limited to: roofing, hvac, fencing, ramps, electrical, plumbing and general construction. Contractors must meet minimum qualification standards regarding experience and past performance and must be capable of providing Payment Bonds for projects over $25,000. Method of evaluation will be in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b), Best Value to the Government. In determining Best Value, quotes will be evaluated upon price and past performance. Past performance will encompass such factors as (1) Quality, (2) Timely Performance, (3) Effectiveness of Management; and (4) Compliance with Labor and Safety Standards. You may be required to provide references to verify past performance on similiar work as described in the individual RFQs. Small Business Concerns interested in being placed on the list should facsimile or mail the request with the following information: firm name, complete mailing address, point of contact and telephone number, facsimile number.
