The work consists of clearing and grubbing, removal of surface debris, trees, shrubs, grass, and other plant life; grading, excavation, borrow, embankment, machine grade roadway; placement of fill material for levees; compaction for road and levee construction; trenching, backfilling and compaction for installation of corrugated aluminum pipe and automatic drainage gates; preparation and placing of aggregate base course; providing and installing flowable fill (cement stabilized backfill) for pipe bedding and backfill; and installing filter fabric and riprap.
