The Pacific Ranger Station of the Eldorado National Forest has a project involving the hand application of herbicides with a directed broadcast spray on competing vegetation in conifer plantations. The application will cover approximately 1378 acres. There will be no pre-bid meeting or tour. Estimated start work date will be May 4, 1999. Solicitation package will be ready approximately March 17, 1999. See Note 1. Prospective bidders can view project by traveling east from Pollock Pines, CA on Highway 50 approximately 8 miles to the Soda Springs-Riverton Road (17N12).
