Contracting Officer, (303) 236-9434 The Contractor shall provide
Architect-Engineer Services for the planning, design, evaluation,
construction, maintenance and/or rehabilitation, and field surveying of
facilities for the Bureau of Land Management in Utah. These facilities
typically consist of buildings; utilities including electrical
systems, water and sewage systems, plumbing systems, and HVAC systems;
roads and trails located on site; site plans including building
location, access, drainage, parking, landscaping and other related
features; and visitor facilities. Work will include architectural,
structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, geotechnical, and landscape
architect capabilities plus related support. The contractor shall
incorporate energy efficiency and sustainable materials and building
methods into all designs. The Contractor shall demonstrate a
familiarity with new energy technologies, alternative building
products, day lighting, and passive solar heating and cooling depending
on climate. Services to be provided in two categories: 1) Design
services including the design and documentation for construction of new
facilities by contract; the preparation of specifications, drawings,
site plans, cost estimates, bid schedules and time line. 2)
Construction Management services including inspection of all actions
required to complete the proposed facility from contract award or start
of construction to acceptance including the warranty period. A 3 year
IDIQ contract will result. The Delivery Orders will have a minimum of
$2,500 and a maximum of $500,000. The estimated yearly cost will be
$250,000. Evaluation criteria in order of importance are: 1)
Professional Qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of
required services, 2) Specialized Experience and technical competence
in the type of work required, 3) Capacity to accomplish the work within
the required time, affording the government prompt service as outlined
on each delivery order, 4) Past Performance on contracts with
Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control,
quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules, and 5)
Location in the general geographic area of the projects and knowledge
of the locality of the projects, provided, that application of this
criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the
nature and size of the project, so that personnel involved in field
investigations and operations possess necessary knowledge of
requirements and laws of the area. Qualified firms desiring
