COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF JANUARY 13,1999 PSA#2261NATIONAL GUARD BUREAU ENVIRONMENTAL ACQUISITIONS UPDATE The National
Guard Bureau is in the pre-solicitation phase of proposed contracts for
environmental engineering/professional and technical support services
and restoration and cleanup services for the Air National Guard.
Contemplated are seven unrestricted procurements for the full range of
environmental services, and two set-aside for small business; one for
the full range of environmental services (SIC 8744) and one with a
scope limited to cultural and natural resources services (SIC 8731).
Eight will be national contracts, with the provision to issue task
orders for work at DoD installations overseas, one contract will be
specifically for work performed at the Massachusetts Military
Reservation. Streamlined formal source selection procedures will be
utilized and evaluation factors for award will include past
performance, technical and cost. All will be Indefinite-Delivery
Indefinite-Quantity Task Order contracts with the provision to award
FFP and CR task orders. Each contract will include a base period plus
nine 1-year options and contract amounts will be for a projected
program maximum of $561 million. The revised projected timeline for
this procurement is: Synopsis of Proposed Procurement: on or about 19
Feb 99; Issue RFP: 19 Mar 99; Award: beginning on or about 1 Sep 99. An
electronic RFP will not be issued. This is the most accurate
information currently available and this is now the only source of

responses to the synopsis of proposed procurement, not this update.
