MARCIA.KATZ@ssa.gov. The Social Security Administration (SSA) is
seeking sources who can provide the following technology services.
Full- service communications technology company for the primary purpose
of supporting satellite teleconferences/media events involving the
Social Security Administration, The White House, The President,
Vice-President, and Congressional participants. Studio and location
capabilities for single and multiple camera type productions with
appropriate in- bound and out-bound fiber circuits, 800 number phone
lines and phone circuits that are available for IFB,
coordination/trouble, and live call-in questions. Duplex multi-port
telephone bridge with full telephone and ISDN interconnects, profanity
blanking and a local bridge manager. Downlink receive capabilities for
satellite feeds to be inserted into the video path of the origination
signal. Ability to receive a compressed (ISDN, M-PEG) video feed to be
inserted into the audio/video path of the origination signal. Includes
live closed captioning, uplink truck, ability to obtain necessary
parking and electrical permits as appropriate, and pre-production
coordination with White House staff and Secret Service (to include all
necessary pre-approved security clearances). Point-to-point
transmission of video via fiber, C- and KU-band satellites- from
anywhere to anywhere with key access to the White House, Oval Office,
and the Old Executive Office Building. Ancillary services should
include post-production editing capabilities, graphics support, and
other production type services such as video news releases, press
conferences, satellite media tours, press conferences and
videoconferences, and station notification to news directors of when to
expect satellite video and audio feeds. Vendors capable of providing
the above required services are invited to submit complete information,
pricing, brochures, GSA Schedule, if applicable, about their product.
Interested parties must respond in writing within 15 calendar days from
the date of the publication. Please refer to MFK-9902. THIS IS A
REQUEST FOR PRODUCT INFORMATION ONLY! This is not a request for
proposal (RFP). No contract award will be made on the basis of
responses received; however, this information will be used in SSA's
assessment of capable sources. The Government does not intend to pay
