NCBC Gulfport intends to procure on a sole source basis one (1) each Prisma Continuous Fluid Management System (Continuous Veno Venous Hemofiltration (CVVH)/Continuous Veno Venous Hemodialysis (CVVHD)/Slow Continuous Ultrafiltration (SCUF)/Continuous Veno Venous Hemodiafiltration (CVVHDF). This machine to provide an optional method of removing body fluids from critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU environment. The determination to restrict competition to a single source is based on REASON FOR SOLE SOURCE JUSTIFICATION. The proposed sole source contractor is COBE BCT, 1201 OAK ST, DENVER, CO. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by identifying themselves and giving written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this synopsis will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
