RFP-797-NC-99-0003 will be issued on or about 1/29/99 for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs' requirements for Influenza Virus Vaccine for the 1999-2000 influenza season. VA's estimated quantities for flu vaccine, trivalent, whole or split virus, for persons over 12 years old are 93,000 each of the 10-dose vials and 220,000 each of the pre-filled single dose syringes. Product will be delivered to VA medical centers within the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Delivery is requested no later than August 15, 1999. Requirements for Federal Bureau of Prisons, Human Health Services Supply Center in Perry Point, MD and Indian Health Services' Oklahoma, Phoenix and Tucson Areas will also be included in the solicitation.
