The software support shall include unlimited telephone technical support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and all updates as released for a one year period. The above Hewlett Packard components and application software shall be installed by the contractor within the existing AEGIS Baseline 6P1 program generation systems to support the AEGIS Computer Center (ACC) AEGIS computer program fleet deliveries. NSWCDD will provide lifecycle support for the AEGIS 6P1 Q-70 computer programs hosted on AEGIS class Cruisers and Destroyers. Lifecycle support includes maintaining, updating, delivering and installing the AEGIS computer programs. The existing Hewlett Packard system needs to be expanded. The above items are needed to maintain compatibility (equipment and applications) with the AEGIS fleet to ensure the ACC can support its lifecycle support engineering mission. Hewlett Packard is the manufacturer of these items. Contractors must provide written documentation to verify items are Y2K compliant. This synopsis/solicitation will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responding vendors must provide their CAGE Code, Dunn and Bradstreet number, Tax Identification number and must be registered in the Central Contractor's Registration Data Base. All responsible sources shall provide written documentation stating they are Hewlett Packard authorized dealers/distributors.
