The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-96-G-0178, with Lockheed Martin Corporation, Lockheed Martin Information Systems, 12506 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando, Florida 32825, to procure engineering investigations and analyses regarding parts obsolescence for the Consolidated Automated Support System (CASS), preparation of an engineering change proposal (ECP) to alleviate parts obsolescence impacts, and the manufacture, assembly, demonstration and testing of three (3) CASS pre-production units incorporating the subject ECP. Lockheed Martin Corporation is the sole source designer, developer, integrator and primary manufacturer of the CASS station and is the only firm with the knowledge, experience and technical data to meet the Government's requirements within the timeframes required.
