Carter, 4215 Blacksnake Drive, Temple Hills, Maryland 20748. Mr. Carter will provide services to assist in the collection of organ weight data and selected tissues, support gross necropsy operations at Mod-1, experimental studies, providing training to biological technicians in processing and staining tissues and conducting archive functions, and assure quality control for tissues being processed by the Histopathology Laboratory (HL), Pathology Branch (PB), Division of General Scientific Support, Office of Scientific Analysis and Support in the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN ). This contractor has the prerequisite capability to provide these services including the necessary experience, expertise and knowledge of the historical background of the histotechniques, enzyme histochemistry, frozen sectioning, special stains, foreign body identification, autoradiography, scanning and transmission electron microscopy, gross necropsy.
