Various water, peat, wood, rock, and sediment samples are to be age
dated either by Carbon-14 beta counting or by accelerator mass
spectrometry, whichever is requested. Carbon-13 values shall be
provided. Carbon-14 results shall be Carbon-13 age corrected if
requested by the U.S. Geological Survey Districts and other Federal
agencies. This is a requirements type contract. The length of this
requirement will be twelve (12) months, with four (4) one-year options.
Written requests for the RFP must be submitted either by U.S. mail,
e-mail or fax at (303) 236-2710 and must contain the RFP number, the
requester's name, address, county, and location where analysis services
would be performed. Telephone requests for the RFP will not be
accepted. RFP 99CRSS0003 will close o/a March 5, 1999. All responsible
sources may submit an offer which will be considered. See Note 12.
