The Army Atlanta Contracting Center (AACC) at Fort McPherson, GA is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of small business sources capable of performing as prime contractor for a multifunctional requirement (Whole Base Study for Ft Polk, LA) under OMB Circular No. A-76, "Performance of Commercial Activities." The information provided will be used to determine if there are small business sources capable of performing as prime contractor for whole base operating support functions for the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) at Ft Polk, LA. Government personnel are currently performing services. A cost comparison under OMB Circular A-76 will be conducted by the Army to determine the most cost effective mode of operation i.e., continued performance by government employees or by a contract performed by a commercial entity. A contract will not be awarded if government performance is determined to be more advantageous. This requirement will cover a wide range of functions required to provide complete base operating support to installation customers while focusing on quality practices.
