Involves review of medical and other evidence in disability claims in Region IX at 1221 Nevin Avenue, Richmond, CA. No client contact. Applicants must: (1) have completed an approved Ph.D. or M.A. program; (2) have a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; (3) have a current state license to practice speech pathology; and (4) have at least 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience working with speech/ language disorders in children. Must be available between 6:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. Monday through Friday for case review. The SIC is 8011. The expected date of contract will be in April 1999. The period of performance for the base period shall be from the date of award through 12/31/99 with four 1-year option periods, if exercised.
