58 -- NATO: PROCUREMENT OF LINE OF SIGHT (LOS) EQUIPMENT FOR THE NEW SFOR HQ IN SARAJEVO SOL CO-8570-OPL DUE 012999 POC Alexis Kemper (202-482-1512) The NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A) is inviting bids for the provisions of Line of Sight (LOS) equipment for the new SFOR HQ in Sarajevo. The scope of the procurement is to acquire 10 LOS outdoor equipment to be installed in the Sarajevo area. The LOS will be in the 14-15 GHz range of frequency and will havea 8 Mb/s capacity. Some installation devices such as radio cable, tower mast, condrete,etc will also be a part of this contract. The implementation, testing as well as a minimum on site training will be included in the contract. The RFQ package will not contain material of a classified nature, however, the successful bidder will be required to have security clearances to the leve of NATO SECRET for all contractor personnel.
