This announcement constitutes as the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F41691-99-T-0107 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-07. The SIC code is 7372, Prepackaged Software and Software Maintenance, size standard is $18.0. The requirement consists of 1 ea CSP Y2K Site License and Password Upgrade and 1 year CSP Y2K Site License and Password Upgrade Annual Maintenance. Standard commercial warranty is required. Delivery will be made to Randolph AFB TX on or about 25 Feb 99. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to Lucent Technologies pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties capable of providing the above, must submit written price, technical proposal, past performance and provide firm evidence of their ability to perform. Offeror must provide cage code and ensure that they are registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors are advised that the final rule implementing CCR in DOD was effective 01 Jun 98. After 01 Jun 98, awards can only be made to contractors that are registered in the CCR. All responses will be fully considered. Award will be made under simplified acquisition procedures, IAW FAR 13.106-2 will be used. Offers must include price, price lists, descriptive literature and delivery schedule and a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items.
