The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a RFP to obtain the services of a qualified SMALL BUSINESS to obtain the services of a vendor to design and conduct an valuation of the Social Security Administration's Continuing Disability Review (CDR) scannable mailer (Form SSA-455-OCR-SM, Disability Update Report). The goal of the evaluation is to determine the following how accurately and reliably does the CDR mailer collect relevant data regarding a disability beneficiary's current status of medical condition and treatment, work activity, education and vocational rehabilitation? How accurately and reliably does the CDR mailer alert SSA to a disability beneficiary's status, that is, the possibility of the beneficiary's medical improvement and the need for a full medical review? How well is the CDR mailer safeguarded from fraud? What improvements can SSA make to ensure the validity, reliability and integrity of the CDR mailer and the data it collects? The proposed contract is for one base year with options for up to four additional years. Any organization which believes it has the relevant experience, personnel, facilities, systems, experience, etc. to perform the described tasks should submit a written request to the Contracting Officer within 10 business days from the publication of this announcement requesting a copy of the solicitation.
